Co-Founder and Senior Faculty
Joseph F. Foderaro is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and retains the status of Diplomate with the American Board of Examiners in Clinical Social Work. Mr. Foderaro is one of the co-founders of the Sanctuary, which for over twenty years, and located in a variety of different settings, was an in-patient psychiatric program specializing in the treatment of traumatized and severely abused individuals. He served as the Program Director for much of its history, and now continues this specialized work by providing clinical supervision, consultation, and trainings for a variety of different treatment and residential facilities. Mr. Foderaro also retains the status as a senior faculty member for the Sanctuary Institute, which allows him opportunities to teach and consult with governmental and private human-service organizations in the Mid-Atlantic region. He is a graduate of Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work, and maintains a private practice in Clinical Social Work near Philadelphia, PA.
